Introductory Remarks

The present document has been drafted in order to inform all users of this website as to our company's policy vis-a-vis the collection, use, protection and disclosure of personal and private information (referred to thereafter as "personal data”). You should read this entire Privacy Policy before submitting information to this website which is powered by YouTect or using directly any services of YouTect (www.youtect.com), which is YouTect, an organization that has a mission to enable people to architect more meaningful places and support the human to desire to connect and create. Whenever you submit information via a YouTect website or otherwise to YouTect, whether online or offline, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Terminology

YouTect has undertaken to build, manage, support and deliver a technological platform for the creation of online network for knowledge exchange and collaboration. By the term YouTect’s website’s users, we mean all online community participants or users of any of the features or functionalities provided by YouTect, including all newsletter/information recipients as well as those who purchase or inquire about YouTect products and services.

Personal information (including but not exclusively reserved to sensitive material of private typology) is all the data that are provided to YouTect by YouTect's clients or are provided to YouTect on behalf of YouTect's clients and concern them or are collected in any other way and in the course of the clients' use of YouTect network by YouTect and concern YouTect's clients. The term "data" includes but is not reserved to files, texts, sounds, images and may contain all kinds of information in relation to YouTect's clients, whether they are provided by themselves, by others or are collected by YouTect on the course of YouTect's clients' use of YouTect network. The term "data" includes personal contact data, like: name, date of birth, address, phone number, occupation, gender, email address, profile information, title that may be collected by YouTect in the course of its providing its services. These contact personal data may be available to all or to some of YouTect's clients, according to these clients' group belonging.

2. YouTect's statement of use of personal information and contact data

YouTect services are not directed to children and YouTect does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age through its websites.

YouTect, its network providers and its employees bindingly and unreservedly state that all information collected in the above mentioned and described manners will, in no way, belong to YouTect. Personal information will be collected and used only for the amelioration and enhancement of the provided services. All personal information will not be used in any other way. All personal information will not be shared with, provided to or become object of commerce transactions with advertisers or with anyone else. This is also true and valid for all information that is distributed through YouTect network. All such information, as well as all clients' personal contact data, will not be disclosed to any third parties for any purposes. YouTect bindingly and unreservedly states that information about clients will not be used in any other way, apart from those referred to in the present document.

YouTect, its network providers and its employees will use all contact personal data only to enable its clients to invite other persons to take part in the YouTect networks or groups in a manner pertinent to their personal and specific interests, habits and positions. If a website user chooses to use this invitation service, YouTect will automatically send a one-time email inviting the person to visit the site. The email may include the user’s name, picture and other profile information. YouTect stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our invitation program. You may contact us at info[at]youtect.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

YouTect network may also address invitations to clients and members of the network to join specific groups or subgroups by using their contact data and by elaborating on the relative information. YouTect will also use contact data in order to avoid fraud and notify its clients in case of fraudulence, as well as in order to improve the services provided (see also part 4, statistical use of data and personal information). Contact data will be used in all cases of communication with YouTect's clients. In these cases, use will be limited by the purposes of this communication.

Subject to users’ contact preferences, YouTect may also use Contact Data to contact users regarding information and offers about the Service, other products and services or to request their feedback. If you do not wish to receive these communications, please configure your notification preferences from your profile page.

3. Additional information

You are responsible for any postings you make in any online community. Before submitting any user-generated content, you should review and adhere to any applicable Terms of Use found at www.youtect.com/terms and also keep in mind that anything you make available as a participant in an online community or submit for posting by YouTect may be made available for others to see; you should therefore carefully consider whether you wish to submit personal data, or any data, for these purposes.

We reserve the right to not post or make available and/or remove any data submitted to us, as further described in the applicable Terms of Use at www.youtect.com/terms. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, contact us at info[at]youtect.com.

4. Statistical use of data and personal information

Clients' personal contact data and personal information may be used by YouTect for the purposes of the amelioration of the services provided. More specifically, YouTect may use the above mentioned data and information for statistical purposes: data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative), trends and percentages. Information disclosure for statistical, scientific and network improvement purposes will be independent from clients' personal contact data disclosure.

5. Use of data and personal information for technical support purposes

Clients' personal contact data and personal information may also be used by YouTect for the clients’ technical support, especially following a client’s request for technical support or an automated troubleshooter sequence. Clients may address YouTect to review and ask for a copy of the data and information collected in the above mentioned manner and for the above mentioned reasons following technical support incidents.

6. Clients’ right to review contact data and personal information

Clients' right to review their contact data and provide personal information to Youtect is not limited to tecnical support cases, but extends to all cases they need to review and alter their personal contact data and information. Users who seek access to data, or who seek to correct, amend or delete data should log into their account and make the appropriate changes. YouTect states that the right of the clients to review or alter their personal contact data and information should, in no way, infringe or curtail YouTect’s right to collect, use or elaborate on the collected, on the above stated manner and for the above mentioned reasons, material, information and/or data. YouTect’s privacy policy statements are true and valid for all clients’ information and data.

7. Security Statement

YouTect vows to keep safe all clients’ information and data, collected on the above stated manners and for the above mentioned reasons. YouTect states that both YouTect and the system administrator have taken all necessary precautions for the safeguarding of the clients’ information and data. Please keep in mind, however, that there is no such thing as perfect security, and no Internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free. Moreover, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any user name and password you use.

8. Legal Action and Security Reasons Disclosure

YouTect may disclose personal information and/or contact data to third parties if required to do so by a court order, responding to government and/or law enforcement requests. YouTect may also disclose and/or use personal information and/or contact data to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with YouTect’s (or others', including YouTect’s user and clients’) rights or property. YouTect may also disclose and/or use personal information and/or contact data to support any claim, defense, or declaration in a case or before any jurisdictional and/or administrative authority, arbitration, ormediation panel, or in connection with disciplinary actions/investigations, anywhere a similar case is brought to a court of law or arbitration committee (of any kind). Likewise, YouTect may disclose personal information and/or contact data to third parties in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of YouTect, its business or the website to which such data is contained. In the event that YouTect goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company or sale of a portion of its assets, our users and clients’ personal information may be part of the assets transferred. Clients will be notified via prominent notice on our website prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If, as a result of the business transaction, users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, you will be notified in a manner consistent with YouTect Privacy Policy. YouTect unreservedly states that all users and clients’ personal information and/ or contact data will be only disclosed and/ or used (in the above mentioned ways) under the limitations set out by Law and in a manner proportionate to circunstances and need.

We may store information about you using cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) which we can access when you visit our site in future. We do this to remember that you are logged in.

11. Legitimity Clause

The present Privacy Policy statement and all amendments to it will be subject to relative UK privacy policy legislation. All disputes arising out of and in relation to this privacy policy statement and to all matters related to privace policy and website users’ personal information and personal contact data protection, storage and disclosure will be subject to UK court jurisdiction.

YouTect’s privacy policy may be amended only to reflect changes in provided services and always in connection to projects of service amelioration. When YouTect posts changes to this statement, the “last updated” date at the top of the statement will be revised.
